So, no photo with this posting, but since this is sort of becoming my little pregnancy journal to record random milestones, I thought I would mention that my appetite has officially kicked into overdrive. I've heard the saying "eating for two" before, but I seriously have an insatiable hunger this week!  For instance, it's only 11:30 a.m. and already I've had two breakfasts and my first (of likely two or more) lunches.

Lately, I go to bed only to realize that I'm hungry, and one of the first thoughts I have when I wake in the morning is, "geez, I'm really hungry." I intend to take full advantage of this opportunity and eat whenever it pleases me, but I also anticipate that this might be the time when I really start packing on the pounds.

We're off to Hawaii in just a few short hours. I promise to take lots of pictures and post some fun ones when we get back. See you in a week...

18 weeks

I think I actually look smaller in this picture than in the last one.  Hmmm...  I guess some clothes just do a better job hiding the bump.

Next week, I'll have to take my weekly picture from Hawaii...darn.  : )  Stay tuned...

17 Weeks

I predict that I'm going to be HUGE by the time I deliver because this seems really big to me for 17 weeks. But what do I know?

I am pretty sure that I felt the baby move for the first time this week. It's hard to know for sure because it really just felt like a flutter in my lower abdomen. But from what I've heard and read, that sounds about right. It was just for a little while and I haven't really felt it since, but I'm pretty sure it was our little one doing some amniotic acrobatics.  : )

16 weeks

I still can't believe I'm this big already at only 16 weeks. I'm convinced that part of it is just my typical pudgy belly that I've always had. But it is kind of fun not having to suck it in anymore!

This was taken after a friend's birthday party last night. It was the first time I've worn clothing that didn't even attempt to hide my growing bump in front of all our friends. There's really no hiding it anymore. I'm one proud mama-to-be!
