Same belly, new hair

Ok, as promised...here's the latest photo of me at 15 weeks. Not really too much difference (maybe I should only being doing this monthly instead of weekly). But I do have a new haircut!

Ultrasound - 12 weeks

Here's our first pictures of Baby Peterson...only 12 weeks old at this point. He/she is due to arrive in the world around July 22, 2009.

New blog direction

So, it's pretty obvious that I did not follow through with my grandiose idea for the photo-a-day blog. (Sometimes I get so swept up with the excitement of a new idea and then never see it through.) Ah well.

I do, however, have a new reason to blog. I'm pregnant! (I'm officially announcing that now, not that there's anyone even following this blog yet.) But I thought that this would be a good way for me to post those oh-so-vain pictures of my growing belly for my Mom and sisters (and anyone else who cares to see.)

I probably should have started taking photos before I was showing, but you know what they say about hindsight. I've finally come to terms with the fact that I'm not just getting fat...I've got an official "bump" now! Anyway, here I am at 14 weeks.

It's about bloggin' time

I'm learning to blog...but I don't have wings. Figuring this out, is the darndest thing...

This can't be that hard, right? Isn't this what teenagers and soccer moms around the world are busy doing every day? I can do this. I will do this!

A friend of mine is starting something called the 365 project, which means she will be taking a photo-a-day for an entire year and posting them on her blog. I was reading a bit about it and am totally fascinated by the idea. So, I may give this a try. (Hope Abby doesn't mind if I copy her idea!)

But first, I need to set up a blog. So, here goes. I'm going to try to test it out a bit here in the next month and a half and see how well I do. (I suspect that this is going to take some discipline.)
